ICONIC EYE HEAD ’INTO THE LIGHT’ WITH SKYFIRE RECORDS
Iconic Eye have become the latest band to sign for new NorthWest record label Skyfire Records.
The highly-regarded melodic rock band, who burst on to the music scene in 2015 and played that year’s Download Festival, will release their new album Into The Light on Skyfire on November 4th.
A single, Am I The One, will be released soon, and the band will go on to tour the UK from February 2018, including a performance in March at Hard Rock Hell.
Skyfire Records was set up this year by Rick Palin, head of Skyfire Interactive Music PR & Marketing. Rick said: “This is a real boost to our young label having such an established band join the roster”.
Iconic Eye, from Birmingham, follow other high-profile UK bands such as Superfecta and The Milk Men, who will also be releasing forthcoming albums on Skyfire.
Rick Palin said: ”Skyfire Records has been established to benefit the musician. I’ve seen so many bands get mistreated by labels. With Skyfire all the money from sales through distribution goes back to the artist”.
Iconic Eye guitarist and founder member Greg Dean said: “The band want to keep control of our releases at the same time as extending our market reach to allow more and more people access to our music. The deal with Skyfire Records perfectly fulfils this requirement and we are very happy to sign this deal”.
Into the Light will be available from November 4th from Amazon, iTunes and all major retailers.
